Advice for non-UK users

Users from outside the UK can register and access most data in the Data Catalogue. To register, a username and password are required. See Login and registration help for further details. Once a username and password have been obtained, use the Login link (at the top of every web page) to log in, then register.

Due to the data redistribution licence agreements with dataset providers/service funders, registration will not permit non-UK users access to:

• ESDS International macro data, such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and World Bank databanks
• most of the ESDS International survey/micro data (however, these should be accessible from a user's national archive/the archive that holds the data)
• most of the UK census data from 1971 onwards
• Special Licence versions of survey data
