Qualitative data

All creators and potential sharers of qualitative data (including ESRC applicants and award holders) should read the UK Data Archive guidance on data management and sharing, which covers all aspects of collecting data for sharing. Here is information on: why and how to share data; consent, ethics and confidentiality; copyright, data documentation; data formats and software (inclusing transcription and digitisation), and data storage, back-up and security.
