Advisory committee
From 1995 until 2003 Qualidata had its own Advisory Committee consisting of representatives from related academic disciplines,
such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, linguistics and education, as well as representatives from government, national
archives and libraries.
With the establishment of ESDS and ESDS Qualidata in 2003 a single ESDS Advisory Committee
was formed covering both ESDS and ESDS Qualidata's strategic aims and portfolio. Professor Nigel Fielding, a sociologist
and qualitative researcher who was a long-standing member of the original Committee, continues to sit on the ESDS Advisory Committee.
