Terms and conditions
All users are required to agree the terms and conditions of use of data as described in the
End User Licence (EUL). This is agreed to
when registering with the Economic and Social Data Service and includes: agreement to inform the UK Data Achive/ESDS of any publications; to cite the data correctly;
not to share data with anyone who is not authorised to access them; not to use the data for commercial purposes, except with permission; and not to try to use
the data to identify individuals, households or organisations.

restrictions on use are also available.
Access to the majority of our data collections only requires registration, agreement to the End User Licence (EUL) and the registration
of usage details. These data are fully anonymised and certain variables may be suppressed to minimise the risk of disclosure.
Some data collections are subject to additional conditions of access and require users to agree to
special conditions.
