Using social science data for learning and teaching: how to access data and resources at the UK Data Archive

Date: 26 January 2011
Location: PC Lab A 4SW.3.9, University of Essex, Colchester

Are you or your students looking for social science data and resources?

At 13.00-15.00 on 26 January 2011 the UK Data Archive will hold an afternoon introductory session on the research data it holds - the largest collection of social science digital data in the UK.

Come and find out what we have to offer. This session will focus on the data and resources of our main service, the Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS).

ESDS provides access and support for an extensive range of key economic and social data, both quantitative and qualitative, spanning many disciplines and themes.

The first hour of the session will consist of a presentation on the ESDS, followed by an (optional) hands-on session in the second hour.

Places are limited, so booking is essential. Please fill in the booking form below.

This is a closed event, open to University of Essex staff and students only.

ESDS is now part of the
UK Data Service
.

These ESDS web pages will remain during the transition, but may not be up to date.
