Statistics User Forum Meeting - Improving Access to Government Datasets

Government produces many high quality datasets, but sometimes does not go 'the last 100 yards' to disseminate them in a form that is easily accessible to non-specialist users. This all-day meeting, chaired by Jil Matheson of ONS, will consider:

• a wide range of different users' experiences - both positive and negative - in accessing government datasets
• views from some organisations which supply data
• a discussion of the options and priorities for improving access
