English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA) user day

Date: 17 November 2008
Location: University College London

On Monday 17 November 2008, the Health and Social Surveys Research Group, Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, University College London (UCL) will hold a one-day introductory workshop on the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA).

The day will be split into two with an introduction to the study, a focus on its content and information on the tools and resources available to users - as well as how to access the data - covered in the morning. In the afternoon, the focus will switch to findings based on the data. The afternoon session ends with a presentation on the future plans for ELSA and a discussion.

This event, organised by the Health and Social Surveys Research Group and the Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS), is open to researchers using, or considering using, data from this key longitudinal study.

There is no charge for this workshop, but numbers are limited so booking is essential.
