Countries and Citizens: LIMMD E-Learning Materials

The Countries and Citizens: Linking International Macro and Micro Data (LIMMD) e-learning materials were re-launched on June 26th 2008 at ESDS International. This comprehensive set of e-learning materials, the development of which was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council's Researcher Development Initiative, is split into five units as follows:

• Unit 1 - the basics
• Unit 2 - making cross-national comparisons using macro data
• Unit 3 - making cross-national comparisons using micro data
• Unit 4 - combining macro and micro data
• Unit 5 - multilevel modelling using macro and micro data

The course is targeted specifically at post graduates and researchers but may also be of interest to undergraduates. The materials are open access although macro data available through ESDS International can only be accessed by users from higher and further education Institutions.
