January 2012 - Newsletter on Measuring the Progress of Societies, issue 10. This has been launched as a new interactive
newsletter featuring articles available directly in Wikiprogress, allowing readers to not only learn about what’s happening in the progress community but also to contribute their

- November 2011 - The Global Project reported a new Data site, "Visualizing Afghanistan: A Survey of the Afghan People" released by the Asia Foundation.

- Nov 2011 - The OECDs Angela Hariche spoke about the Global Project on Measuring the Progress of Societies at the ESDS International 2011 Annual Conference.
- On Thursday 11 November 2010 Dr Eric Swanson, Senior Advisor to the DEC Development Data Group at the World Bank gave a talk on 'Working with International Development Data' at the University of Manchester as part of the methods@manchester initiative which showcases research methods in the Social Sciences.
- Representing ESDS International, Mimas' Celia Russell and Paul Murphy travelled to Busan, Korea in early October 2009 for the 3rd OECD World Forum on 'Statistics, Knowledge and Policy' - see Debating 'global progress' in South Korea for a report on the event.
- In September 2010, Mimas, with RCUK China and other Chinese and UK partners, hosted the ICT and e-Knowledge for the Developing World workshop to explore the impact, benefits and challenges of digital technologies – and discussed how they can create better lives in emerging economies.
