Using real-life, regularly updated data in teaching adds interest and relevance to courses, and helps to prepare students for using statistics in the real world. These Teaching Tools are designed for lecturers, initially in economics (though we plan to include other disciplines as the resource develops) who are using real data for the first time in their teaching. It is intended to assist them in embedding use of real world data into their courses and give them confidence to use real world data in their teaching.
