Data provider visualisation interfaces

Visualise international data using the data providers own visualisation interfaces:

• IMF's data mapper contains World Economic Outlook data - www.imf.org/external/datamapper/index.php.
• The World Bank produces a mash-up of Google Maps with World Bank data to give a visual entry point to browse World Bank projects, news, statistics and public information by country - http://geo.worldbank.org/.
• UN Millennium Development Goals Monitor map - www.mdgmonitor.org/map.cfm?goal=&indicator=&cd=.
• The OECD eXplorer developed jointly by the OECD and the National Centre for Visual Analytics at Linköping University, Sweden, combines maps and graphs with stories http://stats.oecd.org/oecdfactbook/.
• The OECD also produce the OECD Factbook Trendalyzer to visualise Factbook data.
• Eurostat New Cronos - http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/guip/introAction.do?profile=cpro&theme=eurind&lang=en.
• IEA dynamic maps - displaying energy indicators and european natural gas trade flows - http://www.iea.org/country/maps.asp.

Google Fusion Tables

Alternatively, you can upload data from spreadsheets or csv files into Google Fusion Tables and view the data on a map or as a chart immediately. Columns with locations are interpreted automatically, and you can adjust them directly on a map if necessary. However, please be aware of the End User Licence conditions and any dataset specific Special Conditions which you will have agreed to when accessing ESDS International data.
