Which years of
the NI LTS are available?
Data are available from 1998 onwards, when the survey began.
What format is
the data available in?
The NI LTS data are available in SPSS, STATA and ASCII format.
Where can I
obtain statistics and tables from the NI LTS?
Results are available on the NI
LTS web site at ARK.
At what geographical
levels can I analyse the data?
The data does not contain any geographical data such as region. However there
is a variable which identifies the type of area (big city, small city, suburbs,
village etc).
Are the same
questions asked each year?
The survey is run on a modular format and while two modules are repeated every
year (Political Attitudes and Community Relations) the rest of the survey varies
annually, with all the modules designed to be repeated in years to come.

how do I find out what questions/variables are included?
Variable lists and PDF user guides (including questionnaires) are freely available
via the Doc column in the Dataset
