Education
Information on Education from the
LFS has changed significantly over time. The Excel file below provides:
(a) details of the changes to Education for the period 1983 to 2006. A colour
coding system is used to indicate the years where the variable categories are
the same; a change to the colour indicates a change to the categories;
(b) two derived variables which are separately coloured for the period 1983
to 2006.
All of the values and categories with the frequency distributions can be found
in the Word/PDF file below. The documents provide more detailed information
about the changes over time and SPSS syntax to derive each variable for corresponding
years.
