DOB on the GHS from 1972 to 2003/04
The GHS has collected information
about date-of-birth/age in a variety of ways over the years. ESDS Government
has produced a Word table which provides
the following details for each year of the GHS:
- the type of question(s) asked re: date-of-birth/age
- who the question(s) were asked to
- availability of DOB variables on the datasets through ESDS
- imputation instructions relating to day and month of birth.
