THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF GREAT BRITAIN WAS FOUNDED IN 1920. BETWEEN THE YEARS 1989 AND 1991 A CRISIS IN THE PARTY LED TO THERE BEING TWO PARALLEL PARTIES (SEE COMMUNIST PARTY OF BRITAIN). THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF GREAT BRITAIN WAS DISSOLVED IN 1991. TERM ADDED NOVEMBER 2008.
