Abstract:
This project used data from the British Household Panel Survey (BHPS) (held at the UK Data Archive (UKDA) under GN 33196), to compile a consolidated marital, cohabitation and fertility file, containing retrospective lifetime histories and subsequent panel data related to respondents' partnerships and childbearing.

For the second edition of the study (November 2007), updated data and documentation, covering BHPS Wave 15, were deposited.
