It was commissioned as part of the Gambling Commission s commitment to the licensing objectives of keeping crime out of gambling, ensuring gambling is conducted fairly and openly, and protecting children and vulnerable people from harm from gambling.<br> <br> The questionnaire asked respondents to record whether they had gambled on a range of activities in the past year and past week. Past gamblers were asked questions pertaining to venues for gambling and how much they won or lost on each activity.
