    Data received from Sheena Gordon at The Office for National Statistics
    11 August 1998.
    Depositor was contacted regarding queries and data was re-supplied
    from January-April 1999.

  Content Validation:
    File checked against documentation, some queries remain as depositor
    was not able to resolve. These are listed below:-
    FFUNIT-No value label.
    FUNIT-FAMILY UNIT NO.
    These two variables have the same value label as FAMUNIT and are identical
    in size.
    Var PRINDV in data file.
    Var PRINDVA in documentation.
    Vars STRATH,TENUREA have no mention in the documentation


  Conversion process (for data and documentation):
  The spss .por file was received needed no conversion process.
  The .pdf file has been created from the documentation for Labour Force
  Survey 1990.  Plus a new volume user guide (volume 8).

  All outputs checked.

  Summary of value-added outputs:
  Frq,lst, and des were produced for archiving purposes.
