Data Archive processing standards
---------------------------------
The study was received from National Centre for Social Research,
April 1998, and held for fast-track supply as an interim edition only 
as it was still undergoing checks by the depositor. 
In August 2001, the depositor confirmed that checks on the study
were complete. No changes have been made by the depositor to the data 
or documentation files as a result of the checks, so normal 'A'
standard processing has been undertaken on the data and documentation
files.

Conversion of data and documentation formats

SPSS portable file supplied by depositor so no conversion undertaken.


Data and documentation problems

Some pages in the User Guide are of poor quality - this is due to
the condition of the originals.

Technical report recommended/essential

A draft technical report is included in Volume 2 of the User
Guide.
